California Water Plan Update 2009 Workshops
The Department of Water Resources, in cooperation with 20 other State agencies, invites you to participate in a series of regional public workshops to gather and share information about the Public Review Draft – California Wat
er Plan Update 2009. Workshops have been scheduled during April and May for each of the 12 Water Plan regions.
Sacramento River Mile 208 Bank Protection Project
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (Corps) and the Glenn-Colusa Irrigation District (GCID) will host a scoping meeting on January 29, 2009 to take public comments on the scope of an Environmental Impact Statement/Environmental Impact Report (EIS/EIR) for proposed bank protection work on the Sacramento River at Rive Mile 208, east bank.
Delta Vision Strategic Plan Outreach Meeting
The Governor’s Delta Vision Blue Ribbon Task Force is seeking public comment on a draft staff Strategic Plan for the
Delta that will be finalized in October 2008. This plan provides strategic guidance on implementation of the vision issued
by the Task Force in late 2007, with the release of its report, Our Vision for the California Delta. Prior to finalizing its
Strategic Plan for the Delta, the Task Force plans to provide information, answer questions and hear public comment on
the plan from citizens throughout the state.

The Tehama County Resource Conservation District is pleased to announce the release of the draft Tehama West Watershed Management Plan, and to request input from the public on the draft document. A meeting for public comments will be held on October 28, 2008 from 6:00 to 7:30 PM at the Tehama Room, located at the Tehama District Fairground in Red Bluff.
